YouTube Ranks No.1 at User Satisfaction

Newest investigation shows that YouTube has the highest user satisfaction among the main social media websites including Facebook, Groupon, LinkedIn and Twitter. The study was made by Netpop Research.

The study above reveals that Facebook is the world's largest social networking site with the highest usage. 73% of survey responders claim that they have visited Facebook in the last 7 to 10 days. While YouTube ranks the second place and the figure is 49%.

As the largest social media website, Facebook has a lead role in terms of user count, page views, user online length and quantity of content. So the above findings are just as people expected.

But in terms of user satisfaction, YouTube tops all the social media sites. What Netpop Research used to measure user satisfaction is called the Net Promoter Score (NPS), which takes the percentage of customers who are Promoters and subtracts the percentage who are Detractors. The survey shows that YouTube and Facebook have the highest NPS value with 50% and 36% respectively.
