YouTube Once Again Rules Online Video Market, Microsoft rockets to No.2

According to comScore's video metrix, Google's video sharing services (mostly by YouTube) have easily overtaken other competitors again with 141.1 million unique viewers in February.


According to the report, in February nearly 170 million American Internet users watched web videos with totally 5 billion video views. 82.5% of American Internet users viewed online video for at least once.


In February, there have been 141 million Internet audience viewed the videos on Google's websites; and the view times is 1.8 billion. Microsoft is on the second place with nearly 49 million unique viewers and 297.7 million video view times. Yahoo! Video is No.3 on the chart with 46.7 million unique views and 200 million views. Facebook is the fourth one and the No.5 is VEVO.com, which was the No.2 in January. Comparing to January with 510 million unique viewers, there were only 459 million users watched videos on VEVO in February.
