Remember "The Boy Is Mine", the R&B hit released in 1998 by Famed R&B female singers Monica and Brandy? Now they're back. They released a duet "It All Belongs to Me" this February. Two days before, the music video of the song just premiered. This is the first time Monica and Brandy work together since "The Boy Is Mine".

This video was directed by Chris Robinson. It is about the two female singers and their boyfriends. From the song's lyrics and video, we know that it's a female empowerment anthem. The video tells stories that both of the singers have fight with their boyfriends. So the two girls drop the boy off the middle of the road, change the Facebook status to "Single", cut the boy's tie and burn their boyfriends'' gifts in a car. The video ends with a dedication to Whitney Houston as it was inspired by the films Thelma & Louise (1991) and Waiting to Exhale (1995), which stars Whitney Houston and Angela Bassett.
"It All Belongs to Me" serves as Monica's seventh studio album New Life and first single from Brandy's sixth studio album Two Eleven on February 10, 2012, through RCA Records.
