YouTube's Royal Wedding Live Streams Broadcasting Drove 72 Millions Views in One Day

I don't think YouTube is the biggest media in the world, but its information dissemination ability is getting much strong in the Age of Internet and thus cannot be ignored.

Only in one day on April 29, YouTube has driven 72 million views in the live broadcasting streaming of Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding, now the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's wedding, as YouTube official blog reported yesterday. The live show was broadcasted totally in 188 countries. If you have missed the live broadcast, you still have the chance to experience the fairytale wedding on YouTube The Royal Channel. You are able to download the complete coverage of the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton video from YouTube with this YouTube video download software. The video is as shown below:

"Together with those catching up with re-broadcasts later in the day, the total number of streams is claimed to have reached over 100 million on the day", as the Google's video-sharing service site said.

In terms of popularity, the Royal wedding is even more popular than the previous world cup and the 8.9 magnitude Japan Earthquake. It's the biggest event in the history of online video, which is very short comparing with traditional media, such as television, which is claimed to have globally drawn two billion people to watch the live streaming of the Wedding of the Century!
