Top Video-Sharing Sites and Their Traffic

You know that YouTube is the biggest video-sharing website in the world. According to the data from comScore, YouTube has captured 84% of all unique web traffic in January. Besides YouTube, below video sites has also attracted a lot of visits and made their ways into the top 10 ranking.


YouTube is in the top spot. The second place is Sony's VEVO music video site vevo.com, which attracted 51 million unique views. Princess of Pop Britney Spears has released her new single Hold It Against Me in January; I think this helps VEVO gain a lot of visitors. Yahoo! Video is in the third place with 48.7 million; the fourth is Viacom with 48.1 million, AOL and Facebook rank the fifth and sixth with 44.5 million and 42 million visitors.


The seventh to ninth top video sites are Microsoft with 38.1 million unique visitors, Turner Digital with 28.2 million and Fox Interactive with 25.4 million.


The repurposed content aggregator co-owned by The Walt Disney Co., NBC Universal and News Corp. also ranked 10th among all online video sites with 24.9 million unique viewers.


It is remarkable that HD video and TV provider Hulu had the most video ads viewed at 1 billion, that is 44.6 video ads viewed by a single viewer.
