New YouTube App for Symbian Released with Higher Quality Video Playback and New Devices Supported

Google Announced New YouTube App for Symbian
The world best search engine Google released new version of YouTube app for Symbian platform a month ago. The version number is 2.4.10. Compared to previous iterations, the new Symbian app has made a few notable improvements making us easier and more convenient to watch YouTube videos.

How to download and install YouTube 2.4.10 for Symbian:

First off, the app is free for all Symbian devices.
Open m.google.com in Symbian mobile phone's built-in browser, and then choose YouTube. The installer size is 2.5 MB. It will overwrite the previous install when you are installing the new app.

What's new in the update:

1. Supports the latest Symbian OS. You can run the app on devices running the new Symbian OS including Nokia N8, C7, C6-01, or even E7 when that becomes available.

2. Provides high quality video if the source content permits it. There has been a long time for the feature comes to Symbian since the same feature appeared very early on Android OS. Although it still seems that even the highest quality videos on Symbian are lower quality than those played in 'HQ' on Android. But this update at least shows the efforts that the official try to improve the YouTube video quality in Symbian platform.

3. User account integration. Registered Google users can sign in to their Google or YouTube account and use Favorites and other account-specific features.
