Download Linkin Park - Iridescent Music Video

Linkin Park - Iridescent artwork
On June 3, Linkin Park presented us their latest music video for "Iridescent", which is set to be the theme song of the forthcoming film Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Previously, Linkin Park released "Iridescent" as the fourth single in their fourth studio album "A Thousand Sun" on May 27, 2011. Then the song was chosen to be the Transformers 3's theme song.

Music video of "Iridescent" premiered on MTV.com on June 3. You can also find it in The Official Linkin Park YouTube Channel. To download Linkin Park - Iridescent music video from YouTube, you can use this YouTube downloader for Mac or youtube downloader for Windows.

Now that you have watched the video which is entirely in black-and-white, so do you understand the concept of it? Got any idea of the video? You can write it down in the comment section. Well, here I'm gonna share what I know about the video. First of all, there are several main elements in the music video: the one-eyed king, the throne made of antlers, the snake, the white dogs, the Linkin Park band having dinner, the outer space and the Transformers robots. But what do all those elements mean? Actually, I don't know. It's rather complicated. Tell you the truth: even the guys in Linkin Park themselves are confused of the music video.

You may have noticed the scenario which shows the LP band sitting at a tablet together in a feast. Actually it mirrors Leonardo da Vinci's painting "The Last Super".

Joe Hann, who directed the "Iridescent" music video, explained in Linkin Park's official blog that "the video explores how human existence might be affected by the elements of Transformers robots and the threat of the Decepticons."

This is this third time that Linkin Park cooperates with Transformers film series. Previously, Transformers' theme song "What I've Done" and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen's lead soundtrack "New Divide" are all LP's songs. When asked why they chose "Iridescent" for "Dark of the Moon," Mike Shinoda, one of the band's lead vocalists, said the song felt like a good fit.

The 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon" will hit theaters on June 29, 2011. The film's soundtrack will be available in stores on June 14.

Here is the lyrics of Linkin Park's Iridescent

You were standing in the wake of devastation
And you were waiting on the edge of the unknown
And with the cataclysm raining down
Insides crying "Save me now"
You were there, impossibly alone

Do you feel cold and lost in desperation?
You build up hope, but failure's all you've known
Remember all the sadness and frustration
And let it go. Let it go

And in a burst of light that blinded every angel
As if the sky had blown the heavens into stars
You felt the gravity of tempered grace
Falling into empty space
No one there to catch you in their arms

Do you feel cold and lost in desperation?
You build up hope, but failure's all you've known
Remember all the sadness and frustration
And let it go. Let it go

Do you feel cold and lost in desperation?
You build up hope, but failure's all you've known
Remember all the sadness and frustration
And let it go. Let it go

Let it go
Let it go
Let it go
Let it go

Do you feel cold and lost in desperation?
You build up hope, but failure's all you've known
Remember all the sadness and frustration
And let it go. Let it go
